Step 2: Insert the SIM Card & Memory Card

  • Use a Nano SIM card (compatible with 4G networks).
  • Insert the SIM card into the designated slot in the camera.
  • If the camera supports local storage, insert a microSD card (usually up to 128GB or 256GB).
  • Ensure the SIM card has an active data plan.

Step 3: Powering the Camera

  • If the camera has a built-in battery, let it charge under sunlight for a few hours.
  • If it includes a separate solar panel, mount it in a direct sunlight position for the best charging efficiency.
  • Some models have a DC power option for initial charging.

Step 4: Installing the Camera & Adjusting the Angle

  • Choose an installation location with a good 4G signal and direct sunlight exposure.
  • Mount the camera using the provided screws or brackets.
  • Adjust the camera angle for the best view.

🔹 Tip: Position the solar panel at an optimal angle (30°-45°) to maximize sunlight absorption.

Step 5: Connecting to the Mobile App

  1. Download the App:
    • Most brands use apps like UBox, CamHi, V380 Pro, etc.
    • Scan the QR code from the manual or search the app in the Play Store/App Store.
  2. Register/Login:
    • Sign up using your email/phone number.
  3. Add the Camera:
    • Click “Add Device” and select 4G Camera.
    • Scan the QR code on the camera.
  4. Configure the Camera:
    • The app will automatically detect the 4G network from the inserted SIM card.
    • Set up motion detection, alerts, and recording preferences.

Step 6: Testing & Adjusting Settings

  • Live View: Open the app and check the live feed.
  • Motion Detection: Set sensitivity levels to avoid false alarms.
  • Night Vision: Check if IR or full-color night vision is working.
  • Two-Way Audio: Test the microphone and speaker.

Step 7: Remote Access & Cloud Storage (Optional)

  • If cloud storage is supported, subscribe to a cloud plan for remote playback.
  • You can also use the microSD card for local recording.
