V380 Camera Setup: Troubleshooting Common Connection Issues

📌 Steps to Connect a Camera with V380 App

1️⃣ Download & Install V380 App

  • Go to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and download the V380 or V380 Pro app.
  • Install and open the app.

2️⃣ Power On the Camera

  • Plug in your V380-compatible camera and wait for the indicator light to blink (indicating it’s ready for setup).

3️⃣ Connect to Camera’s Wi-Fi

  • Open your phone’s Wi-Fi settings.
  • Look for a Wi-Fi network named “MV+Camera ID” or similar.
  • Connect to it (no password needed initially).

4️⃣ Add Camera in V380 App

  • Open the V380 app and tap on the “+” (Add Device) button.
  • Select “Add Networked Device” or “Add Wi-Fi Camera”.
  • Choose “Wi-Fi Smart Link” or “AP Mode” depending on your camera.

5️⃣ Connect Camera to Home Wi-Fi

  • The app will prompt you to enter your Wi-Fi network name and password.
  • After entering the details, the camera will connect to your home Wi-Fi.
  • Wait for the camera to reboot and reconnect.

6️⃣ Camera Live View & Settings

  • Once connected, go to the “Device List” in the app.
  • Tap on the camera to view the live feed.
  • Adjust motion detection, recording, and other settings as needed.

🔹 Troubleshooting Tips

✅ Ensure your Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz (V380 cameras do not support 5GHz networks).
✅ Keep the camera close to the router during setup.
✅ If the connection fails, reset the camera and try again.
